A: Some improvements were noticeable quite early on, though it’s hard to say with certainty whether they were directly related to Parkinson’s. Communication at the start was limited, and the treatment felt like a significant gamble—you simply don’t know what the outcome will be. My neurosurgeon, who initially advised me not to go ahead with the treatment, continued to monitor my progress. After my second injection, he noted that my facial muscles had improved and my posture had changed dramatically. Now, more than a year after my first injection, I saw him again—and he admitted that while he was once a skeptic, he’s now a firm believer. Personally, aside from the tremors—which have significantly reduced and are sometimes entirely absent—I feel like my mind, posture, and overall condition have improved so much that I no longer feel like I have Parkinson’s.
